Bartow Health Access would not be able to offer excellent care to our patients were it not for our volunteers. Volunteers serve regularly as healthcare professionals and support staff. We would love to give you a tour of our center. If you would like to apply for one of the volunteer positions listed below please download this application and submit it to our office.

IMMEDIATE NEED
Registered Nurse: Provide nurse navigation for BHA patients following established standards and practices.

MEDICAL
Available volunteer positions include:

• Disease Management Specialist:  Nurses, pharmacists, etc. that are experienced in the areas of disease management such as diabetes management programs, smoking cessation programs, etc.
• Primary Care Physician:  Provide medical care while leading the care team and dispensing medications as needed.
• Specialty Physician:  Provide specialty medical care as it pertains to the individuals area of expertise while leading the care team and dispensing medications as needed.
• Dispensary Assistant:  Assist with shelf reorganization, patient assistance program forms and data entry, ordering and sorting medications, and inventory data.
• Translator/Interpreter:  Translate patient documents and interpret for patients on the phone and in the office. Emphasis needed in Spanish and Portuguese.
• Diabetes Educator:  Develop and teach educational classes related to diabetes management to individuals and/or groups.
• Dietary Education:  Develop and teach weight management classes to individuals and/or groups.

ADMINISTRATION

• Back Office Assistant:  File, make copies, create new patient charts, type correspondence, assist with mailings, and data entry.
• Front Office Assistant:  Greet patients, confirm patient appointments and addresses, provide information, communicate with departments, and schedule patient appointments.

DEVELOPMENT
